We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through compliance with this Privacy Policy, supplemented by the Privacy Notice for California Residents below (collectively, this "Policy").
This Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you use the Website and our related services (the "Services"), and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
This Policy applies to information we collect:
- On this Website.
- In email, text, and other electronic messages between you and this Website and between you and the Company.
- When you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and services, if those applications or advertising include links to this Policy.
- When you interact directly with us offline or through other means.
It does not apply to information collected by any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from the Website, or through any communication you may have with one of our partners, such as a financial service provider.
Please read this Policy carefully. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO AGREE TO OUR POLICIES AND PRACTICES, DO NOT USE OUR WEBSITE OR ANY OF OUR SERVICES. By accessing or using this Website or any of our Services, you agree to this Policy. This Policy may change from time to time (see Section XII below). Your continued use of this Website after we make changes constitutes acceptance of those changes, so please check this Policy periodically for updates.
Our Website and Services are intended for adults only. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. Do not provide us with any information regarding any individual under the age of 18.
II. Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It
Personal Information Collected. We may collect personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") to use as part of our Service. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Name, postal address, email address, and telephone number; and/or
- Any other identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline.
Other Information Collected. We may also collect the following (together with Personal Information, "User Information"):
- Information about you that does not individually identify you, such as your income and credit score.
- Information you choose to provide about a third party who is not seeking financial information.
- Information about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Website, and usage details.
You may still access and use our Website if you choose not to provide User Information, but some features and Services may not be available or as accurate.
Information You Provide to Us. User Information we collect through our Website or Services may include:
- Information you provide by filling in forms on our Website, including at the time of requesting a match to financial service providers.
- Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses) if you contact us.
- Your responses to surveys we might ask you to complete for research purposes.
- Details of transactions you carry out through our Website or Services.
- Your search queries on the Website.
Information you submit to receive specific quotes and rates about financial products will be submitted on a third-party service provider's website, and will not be collected by the Company unless that third party chooses to provide the information to us. The collection and use of such information is governed by the relevant provider's privacy policy. If you submit a request to a financial service provider, you may be contacted directly via mail, telephone, text, fax, email, and other means by that provider. You may receive telemarketing calls even if you are on the national Do Not Call Registry.
Information Collected Automatically. As you navigate through our Website, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:
- Details of your visits to our Website, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use.
- Information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type.
Analytics. We may engage third-party service providers to collect non-personally identifiable data and provide us with information, reports, and analysis about usage, general location information, and browsing patterns on the Website. All data collected by these providers on our behalf is owned by us.
Technologies Used for Automatic Collection:
- Cookies. A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer. You may refuse browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser, but doing so may prevent you from accessing certain parts of our Website.
- Web Beacons. Pages of our Website and our emails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit us, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email, and for other related website statistics.
IV. How We Use Your Information

- In any other way we may describe when you provide the information.
- For any other purpose with your consent.
We may also use your User Information to contact you about our own and third parties' goods and services that may be of interest to you. For more information, see Section VII below.
How Long We Store Your Information. We will keep your information for as long as necessary to provide you with the Services, maintain our legitimate business operations, and/or exercise, defend, or establish our rights. We will not retain your personal information for longer than necessary for our business purposes or for legal requirements.
V. How Your Information May Be Used by Financial Service Providers
If you submit a request for information from a financial service provider matched to you through our Services, you expressly consent to the service provider conducting any research necessary to respond to your request. For example, financial service providers may obtain consumer and credit reports to determine your eligibility for and the pricing of certain financial products and services. These reports may also be used for maintenance of any products or services you purchase. The financial service provider may engage third parties in connection with these reports.
If you do not want service providers to conduct the necessary research, do not submit such a request. Because the collection and use of this information is subject to the relevant providers' privacy policies — and not this Policy — you should review those policies carefully.
VI. Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose aggregated information about our users and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction. We may disclose User Information that we collect or you provide as described in this Policy:
- To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
- To financial service providers or their agents or government-run entities.
- To other service providers and third parties we use to support our business, who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
- To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Term Loans Corp's assets.
- To third parties to market their products or services to you if you have not opted out of these disclosures.
- To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.
- For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.
- With your consent.
We may also disclose User Information:
- To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
- To enforce our Terms of Use and other agreements.
- If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Term Loans Corp, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
Telephone Consumer Protection Act Compliance. If you provide a cell phone number with your contact information, Term Loans Corp and/or third parties specified above may dial your cell phone number, possibly using an autodialer, to provide information about your request and/or seek additional information. By providing a cell phone number, you agree to be contacted at that number. Entering into this agreement is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
VII. Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information
We strive to provide you with choices regarding the User Information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:

- Promotional Offers and Third-Party Advertising. If you do not wish to have your contact information used by the Company to promote our own or third parties' products or services, you can opt out by emailing us at support@termloans.com. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may use the "Unsubscribe" link in the email to opt out.
- Targeted Advertising. If you do not want us to use information we collect to deliver targeted advertisements, you can opt out by emailing support@termloans.com.

Accordingly, Term Loans Corp does not currently take any specific action in response to these signals. You can opt out of many advertisers' use of cookies to tailor advertising by visiting aboutads.info/choices.
IX. Accessing and Correcting Your Information
You may send us an email at support@termloans.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any User Information you have provided to us. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
If you delete your User Contributions from the Website, copies of your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or might have been copied or stored by other Website users.
California residents may have additional rights. See Section X and the California Privacy Notice below.
